Natalie Portman plays Molly Mahoney, and she works in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. This movie is not too bad, but I do so much prefer Willy Wonka mucho mucho better.. This movie just wants to make itself so unpredictable too much that the movie became too predictable. But it's not too bad a watch.. I do like Natalie Portman.. lol.. So yeah.. I can't talk too much on this movie because I might just go on and describing everything that you're unable to watch the movie without cursing me. lol.

Sandra Bullock is back and the movie is totally bullocks!! seriously. I mean, they had my cole.. (Julian McMahon). Anyways.. Sandra Bullock plays Linda, a depressed housewife which basically has life jumps, forward and backward, one day Jim (Julian McMahon), her husband, died in an accident. Then another day she wakes up, and Jim is alive.. Then the next day she wakes up, it's been a week since he died.. God.. this movie is really lame.. the story line is not too bad.. but the ending sucks.. ( I like movies that shows some sort of spirituality.. but this movie is a little weird). Oh well, watch it if you do like Sandra, or Julian McMahon..

This is quite a bit of a thriller.. It's really not a bad movie.. Lindsay Lohan is really a great actress.. She has great talent.. Well, anyways this movie is about twins.. it's pretty freaky if you think that if you actually are adopted and like have a twin outside somewhere and have freaky stories in your head.. And basically it shows how the twins bond is so strong. I like LiLo, so, I enjoyed this movie, she usually acts in those happy happy movies, but this movie is dark, and she played it really well. She played a pole dancer.. (she had to go classes for it) and she really did work it! Well, this movie brings the horrible truth of a father who keeps a very important secret.. Well, she slowly unravels everything.. Please do note, this movie has a few gross scenes.. Like where the fingers are cut.. =)) I shan't say anymore.. wouldn't wanna ruin anything for you guys..

Based on a novel, Anne Hathaway plays Ella who was enchanted when she was a baby by a fairy named Lucinda (Vivica A. Fox) giving her the gift of obedience. So anyways, as she is forced to obey anyone, people do abuse her. So, wanting to give her "gift" back to Lucinda, she goes on a journey to find her. During the journey, she meets Prince Charmont (Hugh Dancy), the heir to the kingdom of Frell, who's infatuated with Ella. Well, as all such fairy tales ends, the Prince ends up marrying the person he loves after the series of events that they go through.

Basically, the story is about a guy who is immortal and learned from his old ways and wants to end his curse.. And his old soldiers are there to prevent that.. So see how April and the turtles help out in that department.. Not a bad movie to watch if you have 2 hours to spend.. =)

Lucy Liu plays a journalist that got caught by the vampires and got turned to one.. This is a supernatural movie, where you can see vampires and basically the killings of vampires.. Basically, Sadie Blake (Lucy Liu) wants vengeance for the people who are responsible for what she had become. With the help of Harrison (Allan Rich) the detective whose daughter was brutally murdered by the same vampires, they got their vengeance. End of story. It's not to say a great watch, neither is it a good watch.. I watched it because I love vampires, but this movie is quite a disappointment.. Well, for Marilyn Manson fans, you'll see that he makes a guest appearance as the bartender.. so that's a look out for.. =)

Oh my gosh.. I accidently stumbled upon this little clip while I was looking for some christmas music.. And, this is not a bad clip.. It's quite interesting, and it's funny if you watch Scrubs and grew up with Charlie Brown.. You'll see the person who made this happen, Daniel and Ryan, actually took the time and cut the video and the audio to make everything so in sync.. Kudos to both of you guys.. Very good clip.. This is a Canadian film made for TV. I dub this movie as the Canadian "Death Note" The concept is the same basically.. An ancient powerful magical book is found and whoever who possess it will feel that they have the ultimate power. So anyhoos.. This is about two friends, Dominique (Alexz Johnson who played Final Destination 3) and Ursula (Magda Apanowicz) who found the ancient book in a graveyard one night.. And they discovered the supernatural powers of the book. In a series of escalating acts on vengeance, Ursula hurts the people who opposes her. So, Dominique, with the help of Father Mark Mulligan (Brian Krause) and some help from other people she knows, Dominique attempts to destroy the book to save Ursula before it corrupts Ursula and it's too late for Ursula. In the meantime, two cheerleaders, Heather (Miriam McDonald) and Georgia (Deanna Casaluce) finds out about the book as well, and wants the book so that they are able to overthrow Ursula. I guess having a familiar face like Brian Krause in the movie is not too bad.. He has always played the good guy in Charmed, except for an episode where there were mirror worlds.. So yes, it's not too bad that a whitelighter or the good guy has a history and is able to help Dominique in her quest. And yes, it's so a pirated copy of Death Note..

Unfortunately I've been searching for the next seasons and can't seem to find them, it might be because the authorities are stricter on this issue.. Tim Allen is back again!! In this sequel in 2002, all the principle actors reprises their roles. After 8 years since Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) wears the Santa suit, he's at the top of his game, and is very happy with how his life turned out to be.. until Bernard the Arch-Elf (David Krumholtz) and Curtis the keeper of the Handbook of Christmas, (Spenser Breslin) informs him that he would need to get a Mrs. according to the book. So, trying to find a Mrs. in order to not lose his Santa Claus title and losing his magic, he also finds that he needs to deal with his son, Charlie (Eric Lloyd) who is in the naughty list. See how Tim Allen overcomes these troubles. A real good family movie. Pop some corn, and make some hot chocolate and fire up the fireplace, snuggle in a big couch with your family with a big blanket over and watch the movie.. What a great time to spend some family time.. =)

(Like DUH) So, anyways, the movie is about a pleasantly plump teenager called Tracy Turnblad (Nikki Blonsky) who landed a spot on a local TV dance show. The movie is set in the 60s.. So be set for a change of fashion. So anyways, her best friend is Penny Pingleton (Amanda Bynes) and her goes to school, as usual it's boring, and the only highlight of the day in school is at the end of school where they can race back and watch their favorite program called "The Corny Collins Show" (James Marsden plays Corny Collins). To cut the really really long story short, Tracy shows everyone that she's able to make it famous.. so yeah, this movie has an impressive list of famous actors and actress, Michelle Pfeiffer is in it too.. Well, this movie basically doesn't really need a review.. this is just a fresh look at the movie with new and current faces.. So yeah.. do watch it.. it's good..

This 2003 movie is a pretty good comedy.. Played by Will Ferrell, what can you expect? So, well, he plays the "elf", called Buddy. This is the history, when he was a baby in an orphanage, he crawled into Santa's bag on Christmas eve. And Santa Clause brought him back to the North Poler. Not knowing what to do with the baby, he gives Buddy to the elves so that they could raise him. And they would need to keep the secret that Buddy is actually human. So, as he is human, and well, elves in this part of the story are short and small, and he's like large.. he's like an outcast in the community, anyways, he overhears other elves saying that he is actually human, he decides to find his biological father after speaking to his adoptive father who gave him the information that Buddy needed. Watch the hilarious happenings on his quest.. =)

My internet connection has been unstable of late.. Causing really really slow loading of movies which annoys the hell outta me.. So, as an alternate solution rather than uploading the files to google video.. which is even longer and it makes my internet connection hang.. I've revised some tips on how or what to do while waiting for your movie to load.. (some tips are just for laughs)
1) Load it before you sleep. (Maybe maximum 5 videos) Then set your alarm clock an hour or so before you need to wake up ( If you don't have a timeframe to wake up to.. skip that) Once you wake up, you'll be able to watch the movie without any jerks and waiting time.. =)
2) Load the videos, then clean your house or do your chores... Once you're back, the videos should be up.. (providing you take at least an hour or so)
3) Load the videos, then go out and do your grocery shopping or meet up with your friends... Then once you're back home, just start watching!
4) Load the videos, then go to work.. (You can put in more videos for more movie viewing) Once you're home from work, sit down, relax in front of your screen and you can watch your movie!
5) Load the videos, let the load off (if you know what I mean).. then go take a shower..
6) Load the videos, then prepare your meal.. you can bake too if you want..
7) Load the videos, do some gardening..
8) Load the videos, go for a swim or do some exercise.. then go shower..
A mouse that is a master chef.. The movie didn't live up to it's hype, unfortunately. But I guess it's worth a watch, the animation is very good.. I love how it looks so real.. The storyline is as usual, very predictable. I really like the part where the rodent (Remy) the one who cooks very well, controls the human who doesn't know pot from pan!! Erm.. if you wanna waste 90 minutes, watch this movie. Sorry, I don't wanna comment more on this movie.. I'd ruin it too much for you.

Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas is one of my favoriteeest movie of all time. I love the animation that they use, I love the story line, I just love everything about it. So anyways, the story goes like this, Jack the Pumpkin King lives in Halloween.. They celebrate Halloween only in this town.. then, he finds a door outside his town/portal... to the other celebration days.. He goes in and finds that he likes Christmas the most, so he attempts to re-vamp the Halloween town and give Christmas a little twist.. Him being Santa.. Watch how he tries to fulfill his dreams.. =) You'll love the characters in the movie, everything is interesting and their details are great..

This is a touching movie that portrays the struggles of a divorced mechanic man, Monty (Idris Elba) who struggles to buy the garage from his employer, in order for him to take his girls away from his ex wife, Jennifer (Tasha Smith) who's the worst mother on earth. The ex wife is now with this drug dealer and yes, she also does deals with drugs.. So anyways, the kids are living with Jennifer's mother's house, then she passed away, and Jennifer took the kids. Monty now has to fight for his kids. He befriends a lonely but successful lawyer, Julia (Gabrielle Union) when he does an extra job to get more money by being a personal driver. Well, in all normal movies, they both fall in love with each other and they have to overcome their differences. And yes, you also have to watch how Monty struggles to fight for his kids with the gnarly ex wife of his.

This is a movie made for TV. It wasn't released to the cinemas. Michael Weinberg plays Kevin McCallister. Well anyways, his parents have split up, he lives with his mom, so for Christmas, he decides to spend it with his dad, who is with Natalie (Joanna Going), she's filthy rich. And this, being a sequel, obviously, there is a robber trying to rob Natalie's house.. and you'll see how he deals with the robbers..
Please note: This is the worst of all of Home Alone.. So please do not watch it. Well, that's my advise, you can watch it if you want.. I'm only posting it because of the Christmas theme and because I've put in the rest of the Home Alone movies.. So anyways, Catherine plays Kate Armstrong who's a top chef in New York leading a very busy life, with work and life.. Well, her sister passes away in an accident and she's named guardian to Zoe (Abigail Breslin). And in the work part of her life, a new sous-chef, Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart) stirs a little more complication in her life as they clicked, and he's good with Zoe.. Well, it's somewhat like the movie that Kate Hudson acted in called "Raising Helen". It's a pretty good movie as well.

And once the police came, they left and didn't leave any trace behind and poor Alex was accused of making a false police report. So anyways, this continues on the next day. And he got a lecture from the chief officer. Well, needless to say, that the next day comes and the robbers are back, and he decides to get evidence so that he won't be wrongly accused.

Disney movies come to real life (live-action)!! I've seen the trailer over and over and over and over again.. and finally it's here!! Grey's anatomy Patrick Dempsey is in this movie, and so is the James Marsden. Anyways.. The story is about a princess who's obviously beautiful, she's called Giselle, so Princess Giselle (Amy Adams). Well, she was cast away from her magical, musical animated (disney) land by an evil Wueen Narissa played by Susan Sarandon. So she finds herself in modern day New York, the harsh reality hits her as she never believed that a place like this would exist. A place that doesn't have the "happily ever after". So you can see she's deprived of enchantment, what does she do? So anyways, she starts falling in-love with a flawed divorce lawyer, Robert Phillip played by Patrick, but she's promised to the fairy-tale Prince Edward played by James Marsden.. Watch the movie to see whether fairy tales actually comes true in the real world..

Our beloved Macaulay Culkin plays 8 year old Kevin McCallister who had to sleep in the attic for bad behavior and was left home alone after his whole family left to the airport to France for their Christmas vacation. Well, he wasn't afraid, he was happy, because he did wish his family gone when he was sent for his punishment. So anyways, he spend his first day alone and happy and having fun. But come the second day, he finds that Mav and Harry (The wet bandits) are gonna rob his house.. So the 8 year old needs to fend for himself and protect the house from the robbers.. Watch the movie again to see the witty and funny 8 year old do what he needs to do.. =)

I know.. what a teen movie.. Yeah.. it exactly is that.. But who wouldn't wanna see the Mattel Bratz come to live in a movie? I for one do.. t's just too teeny bopper, bubble-gummy for my taste. It's about 4 teenage friends who starts high school, and how they fell apart, and how their friendship re-kindled. So the 4 best friends are Sasha, Jade, Yasmin and Cloe. It's the normal split apart to other social friends and groups and a concert that brought them back together. This movie is like The OC, High School Musical put together. Don't watch this movie if you want to kill more of your brain cells. It's really erm.. to put it bluntly, a waste of your time. But if you wanna watch the Mattel dolls come to live like I do.. I guess it's worth a watch.. Once you see the 4 girls together.. You can close the movie, you don't need to see more of it.. It's not worth your time. And no, high school is always the same.

In commemoration of that world celebrated day, there are a lot of movies about the holiday. Here is one, in a very different perspective... Santa's brother.. Fred (Vince Vaughn) whom was forced to go to the North Pole as he was sent to jail. He grew up in the shadows of Nicholas.. Everything that Fred did, Nicholas did better, till Fred turned vengeful and jealous of his brother. So anyway, Nicholas decided to help his brother out, in turn, Fred would have to work in Santa's workshop... Now we'll see how disaster would strike... Oh yeah.. Rachel Weisz plays Wanda who is Fred's girlfriend.
This is not a bad movie, I like the FX they use.. hahah.. I mean, Vince is big, but it's just really great.. the elf's and him, just accentuates his "bigness". It's just funny that 3 elf's are able to jump on Vince!! haha.. So anyways, Santa faces another problem, that the board (the holiday board) wants to shut his operation down.. and have a new operation that cost cheaper and more efficient... in SOUTH POLE !! hahahah.. what a travesty!! Well, Fred just has the knack of always screwing things up.. urgh.. It's not a bad movie.. But it ends the way as all Christmas movies end.. I won't even say it. Kathy Bates is the mom.. They really don't have such a bad cast..

The popular game "Hitman" now turns to the silverscreen!! Hitman comes to life!! WOOHOO!! Please note that this is an R rated movie.. So please do watch it if you're over 18... Timothy Olyphant plays Agent 47 (pretty badly.. you can say that he's stiff like Keannu Reeves.) Our beloved main character.. Anyways, he's raised to kill by a religious order called "The Organization".. Anyways, he finds himself being double-crossed, and is forced to find out the truth in order to save himself and (Yes, obviously there will be a hot chick and a Russian one at that) Nina (Olga Kurylenko), who "witnessed" his assassination attempt. What happens? Will he succeed his personal mission to survive? Will he fail and die? Sadly, the movie didn't live up to the hype when I saw the trailer. It's all about blood, hot sexy woman and explosions.. Basically Die Hard or whatever else action movie. The acting is not too great.. The plot is not really clear.. So I'd rather just play Hitman than watch this movie.. But, yeah, I guess it's good to watch the movie.. just ONCE..

Here you'll see the saying "beauty lies from within". Gwyneth Paltrow (Rosemary) and Jack Black (Hal) starts dating.. Not likely because on Hal's dad's dying bed, the dad told him to only go out with beautiful girls.. and Hal only went out with beautiful girls.. Unfortunately for Rosemary (she's like 300 pounds), she doesn't fit his criteria. With the help of Anthony Robbins (as himself) Hal was hypnotized and only see people for their inner beauty. And that was what happened in order for him to date the obese Rosemary. I like the concept of the movie.. Sure I'm not fat or ugly.. but I believe inner beauty.. sure, the looks outside most of the time is the ones that starts it.. but no matter what, it's the inner side of a person that lets a relationship last the way it does.. Besides, beauty fades.. (I know with the technology that we have now.. plastic surgery and all.. ) Well, it's not a bad movie to watch really, if you like Jack Black movies.. =)

This is a GREAT movie!! Yes, it's a novel-adapted movie.. But it's really good. I've not read the book, but it's from Cormac McCarthy. (For those who wanna read it) Seriously.. Not to be missed. The movie is set in the 1980s, where change always brings trouble. He plays sheriff Ed Tom Bell, who's a third generation sheriff and he's a stereotype and pretty much loves being that. Javier Barden plays Anton, he's the psycho killer. So anyway, it starts where you see Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin), a hunter that stumbles upon the aftermath of a drug deal that went wrong. So anyways, he finds a stash of money (2 million) and obviously, he takes the money and flees. So, imagine Llewelyn as the small fish, and Anton and sheriff Ed as the bigger fish chasing accordingly. Great thriller movie, it's definitely a watch over again and again.. Superb movie.. Serious KUDOS to the Coen brothers for directing it and Cormac McCarthy for the amazing book!! WATCH IT!! You won't regret it!!

Eddie Murphy.. yup.. it's a comedy again!! This movie is about a busy working father who got fired.. As Charlie (Eddie Murphy) is desperate for money, he opened a day care with his friend who also lost his job Phil (Jeff Garlin), seeing that there's money to be earned in that.. Slowly after they get used to and know about the business, their business boomed as it's about fun and learning too, unlike the nearby school which was strict.. Soon, that strict school slowly loses it's students, and you'll see the headmistress attempting to ruin Daddy Day Care... but to no avail. Then Charlie got a really good offer, and he took that job offer.. only to find that he doesn't wanna do the job and decides to open Daddy Day Care again. He needs to convince the kids that his serious and slowly got back his business and Daddy Day Care then became successful.
This movie did not do justice to the novel.. Most novel adapted movies doesn't.. Oh well.. So anyways, this is somewhat like and Ugly Betty movie, but in the faster version.. I really love Anne Hathaway.. her movies are just full of make over parts.. *grins* So anyways, she's Andrea, a recently graduate and she got a job as an assistant for a top CEO of a magazine, Miranda.. (Meryl Streep). So anyways, she slowly steps up and you can see her transformation, not only by her appearance but also her personality. Her boyfriends starts getting distant from her as her hectic schedule and her constant bowing to all of Miranda's needs... She finally stands up for herself, and learned to balance work and love. I do love movies with makeovers.. So yes, I would suggest people to actually watch this chick flick!! I mean, seriously.. It's really not a bad movie to watch.. Sure it's a bad representation of the novel, but most novel-adapted movies never really do justice to the novel. So do watch this show without prejudice, and you'll actually enjoy it. Trust me.. It really brings you back to the days where you just started work and you want to impress the boss so much and you're just doing everything with the wave of their finger. And as for the younger ones that has never worked before, or the ones that are starting out.. don't be afraid.. It's not always like that, you do get a really nice employer.. if you're lucky!! haha.. But seriously, it also prepares you for the worst that may happen when you start work.. =)

This movie shows you one of the worst thing that could happen on your honeymoon! Rueben Feffer (Ben Stiller) married Lisa Kramer (Debra Messing) and on their honeymoon, Lisa slept with her instructor!! Rueben didn't follow because it was a risky thing to do; he's a risk analyst and like to calculate risk and tries eliminating risks in his life.. Anyhoos.. He found Lisa and the instructor doing tha thing and he went back to his risk analyzing job. His friends tried to cheer him up, and one of them took him to an art show where he met Polly (Jeniffer Aniston) his high school classmate. Polly lives her life freely.. Both their personalities are opposite each other, but they found their attraction towards each other and started dating.. Then after things are pretty good between them, Lisa came back after ending her affair with the instructor.. Rueben then have to figure out which woman does he wants in his life. I'm guessing you know who he chose... =)) Quite a straight forward movie, you'd know the ending.. but not a bad movie ( I'm bias again cause I love Jeniffer Aniston)

This international screening is one of Ang Lee's best works.. Sure, he's being sued about some issues.. But the direction of the film is superb.. The movie is set in the World War 2 era, in Shanghai.. The starting scene shows Wang JiaZhi (Tang Wei) in a cafe and used the phone for a phone call. Then it turns back to her the past and what brought her to where she is at that moment. It flashes back to a bunch of theatrical students wanted to do something as they didn't agree with what was going on, and this is a story of their attempts.. The first attempt, where Wang JiaZhi had to seduce the political figure that they want to bring down, Mr. Yee (Tony Leung). She needed to lose her virginity in order to make herself more believable as she played Mrs. Mak, a wife of an import and export business man. And she befriended Mrs. Yee (Joan Chen) and Mrs. Yee soon taking liking to JiaZhi. So anyway, their first attempt was good, but it wasn't successful. Then slowly, they fell apart after this incident. After a few years, Yu-Min (Wang LeeHom) who was one of the students with her in that incident found her and offered the same mission again, but with support from a rebellion group. She decided to join them back as they promised to send her to London where her father is. But soon, when she and Mr. Yee started their affair.. She soon falls for Mr. Yee.. and the integrity of the mission was compromised.. I'm not going to tell you the ending.. it's a must watch.. Everything from the directing to the props are really fantastic..

6 friends grew up together well basically elementary school.. Wendy (Amber Tamblyn), Billie (Kelli Garner), Ann (Julia Garro), Jonah (Edward Tournier), Price (Ricky Ullman) and Robert (Stephen Colletti). Well, they stick together through thick and thin.. And well, are like a family.. well, somewhat like a swing group or whatever.. So anyway.. Nathan, Wendy's brother had such an ackward guy.. So, this new guy, Sean, like came and was very nice to Nathan, and like, Wendy, like start falling for him, and she's in this dilemma, cause she's very close with Billie and she doesn't know what to do, cause she's torn between her commitment to her friends and her affection to Sean.. So anyway, Billie, tests Wendy using Ryan (Hillarie Burton) pushing Wendy to publicly humiliate Ryan ( who left the group a year ago and left with Aaron, her boyfriend) Meanwhile, Nathan develops a crush on Helen, Sean's mom!! OMG.. Seriously, don't judge the book by it's cover.. This is a good movie.. Seriously. It's a MUST WATCH!!

How can you deny that this is not a comedy? Sure, it's not the best that Adam Sandler has done.. but it's a great movie.. It's the story of two best friends, Larry (Kevin James), a family man recently widowed with two kids, and Chuck (Adam Sandler), a promiscuous chauvinist. They both are firefighters, and basically both have saved each others hineys before.. So anyways, while Larry was writing the beneficiaries on his pension, he is unable to as there was some civic red tape issues. Looking for a solution... Comes the news, where gay couples are being recognize in the social system and the law. So he calls in a favor from his best friend Chuck, to be his domestic partner. And they then went to Canada to get married.. With that being said, Chuck had to move in with Larry.. Larry had to lie to his kids that Uncle Chuck's place was being renovated.. But the authorities was very suspicious about these two... And finally found something against them because Chuck was crazily flirting with Alex (Jessica Biel) and the authorities then started looking for more solid evidence.. And in the end, the show had to come to an end.. But here, you'll see that everyone in their team were rooting for them, and that they actually finally came through without the punishment of treason.

I've always love watching Adam Sandler in action.. His movie always makes me feel good after watching it. And the movie is entertaining, witty, and funny and it's just hilarious and makes me feel so good watching the movie.. I'll be posting quite a few Adam Sandler's movie just cause I miss watching him in the movies so.. Time to find my movies and watch it again.. =)) Well here we have click, a workaholic who always never has enough time for anything and sucks in using remotes as he has too many remotes at home gets annoyed and just got a universal control so it's easier rather than having plenty of remotes hanging about at home.. his luck finally turns when he found a remote.. that controls EVERYTHING!! He starts using the remote, and got addicted using it, and finds that everything was out of control because he controlled everything before, and they memorize his actions towards the situation, and now time passes too quickly and he missed everything in his life,and never actually live his life.. This is a great show when you're being annoyed with life, it makes you see how beautiful and meaningful life can be.. with the right perspective.. =) Great show to watch!!

Scarlett Johansson is a nanny in this movie.. Interesting eh? Anyways.. she plays a college graduate, Annie Braddock, that couldn't get that job she wanted after not being to answer who she is in the interview, and stumbled upon being a nanny to a rich New York family, for just being in the right place and the right time... (But is it?) It's like a dream job, she gets more money than the job she wanted, she gets to live in a fancy high class apartment in Manhattan.. It's someway a good show to watch for all those new graduates.. And the possibilities that may drop upon them.. It's also a good show for future au pairs to watch, to be warned.. I meant.. advised.. the casualties of the job.. or what not.. The movie had a cheap Mary Poppins flashback.. but overall, this movie is not a bad watch.. Alicia Keys do play Lynette, Annie's friend.. And she's not too bad in acting.. This movie is worth a watch..Luckily, my babysitting days are over.. and yes, I did have a few of them who are as rotten as Grayer.. But this is a movie that shows the ties of a child and the nanny, and the nasty parents and their troubles.. and you'll see the kid taking in all the psychological impact.. It's quite sad at times..

OMg.. this is a show that has pies.. (I LOVE PIES!!) Well, it's about Jenna, a waitress who's a whiz at making pies.. that's in an unhappy marriage... the worst thing.. she's pregnant.. well, she's good at pies, and there's a pie contest coming up with the grand prize of $25,000. She's saving up to sign herself up to that contest and try to win the grand prize.. so she can open a pie shop and run away from her husband!! woohoo!! But along the way, she meet this new guy who's her doctor and they start having an affair... and she and the owner of the pie shop, Joe, got closer as she always wait on him, and he knows about her issues.. so they are somewhat friends.. he teaches her things and keep her motivated in some ways..
This drama comedy show is not a bad movie to watch.. if you're a chick.. It's not really to be classified as a chick flick, but guys will not enjoy this movie.. So, girls, plan a girl's night in or out.. and try watching this movie.. It's really not a bad home movie to watch on a lazy weekday night.. Or maybe for a Sunday matinée.. But make sure you got loads of food ready.. especially pies.. and if you do have that, invite me.. I'm not there to watch the movie again of course.. cause this movie is not worth watching twice.. But I'll be there for the pie.. hehe..

Okay, I did watched this movie quite a while ago. I'm only putting a review and watched it again cause I wanna watch the second one!! This is a teen movie, Troy and Gabriella. During a New Year's Eve party, Troy sang karaoke with Gabriella and when Troy goes back to school for the new term, he finds Gabrella as the new girl in school. They quickly became friends and joined a musical together. Troy is the basketball jock and competing in the Basketball champoinship which falls on the same day the musical try out is held... which would he choose? You guessed right!! He in the end, went to his basketball competition and broke Gabriella's heart.. but in the end, as all Disney movies end.. a HAPPY ending.. Bla... bla.. bla.. Watch this movie if you're really really bored.. Just like me... I'm watching all the old re-runs, and I though taking a break from Adam Sandler would be good.. I guess wrong.. Off to find more old Adam Sandler movies.. I'm gonna take my time to watch the second one now, heard it's not too good.. But here you guys go..

This is a disney channel movie.. Looking into the minority now, this is about a young boxer. (Think Milliondolar man) but the young little version. Izzy Daniels, the inspiring young boxer rising to be a great boxer.. Training since he was young, his father trained him, (his dad was a good boxer when he was young too) so anyways, he got the an exhibition for the Golden Gloves.. He needs to get it, in order to be the third Daniels to get the Golden Gloves award.. He trains up really good for it, but then he had to bring his sister to a rope jumping (Double Dutch) competition. He soon finds himself having a hidden passion for jumping ropes.. What is he going to do?? This is quite a good movie for the kids, the preteens, and also to keep your heart young.. =)

This is not a bad movie.. for Mandy Moore.. but a bad choice for Robin Williams.. This movie is not that witty... But I guess the character of Robin Williams the reverend suited him. Who else can do stupid things and put on pranks, and get away with it? (other than Adam Sandler and Ashton Kutcher) Anyways, this movie is about a young couple, Ben (John Kransinski) and Sadie (Mandy Moore) they got engage.. and Sadie wants to be married in the church she grew up with.. And want the ceremony to be performed by Reverend Frank (Robin WIlliams). In this movie you'll see that Reverend Frank does so much things to ruin Ben's marriage.. (It was all just tests which in a way is right and wrong at the same time.. just basically to test whether they would be married) So, wanting to get married in 3 weeks time, because that's the only opening for 2 years.. They had to go through the stupid grueling preparation course.. And Ben looking for dirt to prove that the Reverend is there to ruin his chance to get married to Sadie.. Here you'll see the test that your love have to survive in order to get married by that Reverend.. Anyways.. in the end.. as usual, they got married... happy ending.

I know this movie came out quite a while ago. But I just watched it again.. Yes, I've watched this like 5 times.. It's still good. I grew up watching transformers and finally seeing them real life.. (You know what I mean) It just gives you the feeling that they really are alive.. Especially Bumble bee and Optimus. The storyline isn't too bad.. A high school guy acquires Bumbe bee because he holds the key to the Cube. Not only does the Auto bots have help from the high school boy, Sam, but they have help from the US military too to save the world with the Decepticons. It's a good action pack film with good FX and it's just a nice break away from watching the bad movies that has been lately showned lately. Thank God for old good movies.. Good movie, great to watch it several times.. Two thumbs up for this movie!! You can watch the movie again and again, drama and action in one..

Evan Almighty's Steve Carell strikes. This movie is really not too bad.. Interesting way to see life in a widow.. with 3 daughters (What's with him and always having 3 kids?) It's not such a bad film.. There are some funny parts, especialy if Dan (Steve Carell) dances, sings and plays the guitar... He does look like a comedy.. so it's not too questionable that he does make his movies quite funny. The movie is basically about this widow who's a writer, who hit on his brother's girlfriend.. In his defence, he didn't know that she was his brother's girlfriend. But they hit it off, and he likes her.. And now both of their attraction of each other grows, and some hillarious events happened. When Dan went for a blind date, Marie (the brother's girlfriend) was jealous.. You can see that.. pancake.. (damn.. i wanna eat pancakes now) Seriously, even his daughter suspects that he has a thing for Marie, but doesn't suspect that their loser dads have a thing for their dad. But Marie can't stop pretending that she feels for Dan.. and Dan, can't help it too.. Both falls into a dilemma... Marie leaves the brother, and the family finds out.. What happens to Dan?? There are a few quirky jokes in this movie. So it's really not too bad movie to watch..
One beautiful sentence.. "love is not a feeling, it's an ability" Now that's a beautiful phrase..

This is the third movie called Beowulf.. The first two attempts was called Beowulf & Grendel (2005) and Beowulf (1999). But this movie is the one that they market the most.. And it's out in the cinema.. I've not watched the first two attempts.. But the third one is not too bad.. for a fantasy movie.. It has very good actors, top notch ones, Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie.. Grendel the monster emerged and Beowulf comes to be the hero and save Hrothgar's kingdom.. Well, once Grendel was slayed.. Grendel's mother comes and creates another havoc to the kindgom to venge her son's death.. If you line this movie up to the other fantasy movies like LOTR, Dungeons and Dragons.. It's just best to stick to the trilogy and watch D&D.. (I'm being bias cause I'm a D&D fan) The language that Beowulf movie uses is not too great.. it's as though you're in this century talking to people, it doesn't really give you the feel of being in that era.. The FX in the movie is better than D&D but much inferior to LOTR.. So yes, it's not a bad movie to watch, just to get a quick fix on fantasy movies..

After all these crappy movies, I decide to watch a cartoon.. I enjoyed cinderella when I was young and recently watched the first one.. I didn't watch the second one, but this third one is quite tolerable. It gives the viewer the chance to see what would happen if Cinderella didn't get her Happily Ever After.. It also gives the ugly sister with the ugly personality to be with the prince charming... it's quite an interesting turnover for a fairy tale we all love. We see Cinderella's hopes and dreams shattered.. This is not a bad movie.. after watching all those indy and b grade movies.. Maybe I should stick more to animation movies.

John Cusack is back.. I thought this movie would be as good as Identity.. Plus it's from a Stephen King novel.. Thinking "how bad could this movie be?" wouldn't really come across your mind.. But seriously.. OMG.. This movie sucks the life outta you.. seriously, it's not good.. It's really not a good movie to watch. I don't know what's up with movie business these days, they just want to come out with movies all the way, want to make full to re-use the props or something? I truly, deeply do NOT recommend to watch this movie. This movie is such a disspointment, especially with such a good actor in it.

This is an Australian movie about 3 people trying to survive in the swamps in Aussie. In the mangrove, there lives a crocodile.. and that's what they need to avoid in order to survive. There is another movie like this about a man eating crocidile.. though it was trapped in the sewers of a city.. hmm.. what's it called? anyhoo, there's also a movie called crocodile (2000) and it's about thes bunch of Americans going to some wilderness and had to face (guess what??) yuupp.. a crocodile.. Anyways, back to the matter at hand, this movie is R rated.. Probably because the crocodiles is toooooo fake.. it's too damn unbelievable!! They over-exaggerated on the crocodile.. making it seem soooo powerful, hence made it too unbelievable to believe. They tried too hard to make the crocodile invinsible.. Not a bad movie to watch if you don't mind the bad FX. You can just watch the pretty good performance of the actors/actresses.

The I am Legend copycat... This movie didn't even get into the theatres, straight to DVD. It's in the genre of resident evil, I am legend.. So many of these shows are coming up.. I wonder if what if it really comes true.. Directed by Griff Furst (he directed quite a lot of B-grade movies and some CSI episodes) and starred by Mark Dacascos (Code Name: Cleaner.. upcoming movie The Legend of Bruce Lee). I guess he's not a bad looking guy.. This movie, is something for you to watch, if you can't wait for Will Smith's I am Legend.. It gives you some sort of feel towards it. But watch this first and I'm sure you'll be awed by I am Legend even more. This movie doesn't make sense, as it shows a boy growing up alone?? Like seriously, how can a 8-10 year old grow up in a world full of infected people. And by the time he grew up, do you not think that there wouldn't be powerbooks still working and in new conditions? Oh yeah, do you not think that there wouldn't be electricity and satellite.. (I know I'm being too critical on this but seriously, does it make sense??)
Well, this is really a very cheap shot to the movie "I am Legend". Look at the poster, it even haves the feel of I am legend's poster. The storyline is almost the same. All they did was modify some things here and there, and made sure that this guy somehow actually grew up by himself with the swarms of infested people. Defending himself, trying to get food for himself, and hey, he could even find medications. And seriously, art department team, do you not use your brains when you find things that are supposed to be old? Like seriously, did you not learn from other movies like Resident evil? 3 years and they do not have food and fuel, and all their stuff are rusted and etc. How can this 10+ year infestation still have all sorts of stuff, not to mention things that look so NEW?? Gosh.. I know I'm ranting off and insulting this movie to bits.. but seriously.. this is the poorest attempt to follow "I am legend" legendary storyline. (no pun intended)
I'm going to stop here as I've got sooooo much to say about this movie, but I wouldn't want this ranting to be 10 pages long. Cause I'm pretty sure I can scurinize every minute of this film and go write it here. (I only watched half of the movie.. it's not worth to watch.. Wait for "I am Legend") Urggh.. what some people do for cheap thrills..
