The devil wears Prada

This movie did not do justice to the novel.. Most novel adapted movies doesn't.. Oh well.. So anyways, this is somewhat like and Ugly Betty movie, but in the faster version.. I really love Anne Hathaway.. her movies are just full of make over parts.. *grins* So anyways, she's Andrea, a recently graduate and she got a job as an assistant for a top CEO of a magazine, Miranda.. (Meryl Streep). So anyways, she slowly steps up and you can see her transformation, not only by her appearance but also her personality. Her boyfriends starts getting distant from her as her hectic schedule and her constant bowing to all of Miranda's needs... She finally stands up for herself, and learned to balance work and love. I do love movies with makeovers.. So yes, I would suggest people to actually watch this chick flick!! I mean, seriously.. It's really not a bad movie to watch.. Sure it's a bad representation of the novel, but most novel-adapted movies never really do justice to the novel. So do watch this show without prejudice, and you'll actually enjoy it. Trust me.. It really brings you back to the days where you just started work and you want to impress the boss so much and you're just doing everything with the wave of their finger. And as for the younger ones that has never worked before, or the ones that are starting out.. don't be afraid.. It's not always like that, you do get a really nice employer.. if you're lucky!! haha.. But seriously, it also prepares you for the worst that may happen when you start work.. =)
