I am Omega

The I am Legend copycat... This movie didn't even get into the theatres, straight to DVD. It's in the genre of resident evil, I am legend.. So many of these shows are coming up.. I wonder if what if it really comes true.. Directed by Griff Furst (he directed quite a lot of B-grade movies and some CSI episodes) and starred by Mark Dacascos (Code Name: Cleaner.. upcoming movie The Legend of Bruce Lee). I guess he's not a bad looking guy.. This movie, is something for you to watch, if you can't wait for Will Smith's I am Legend.. It gives you some sort of feel towards it. But watch this first and I'm sure you'll be awed by I am Legend even more. This movie doesn't make sense, as it shows a boy growing up alone?? Like seriously, how can a 8-10 year old grow up in a world full of infected people. And by the time he grew up, do you not think that there wouldn't be powerbooks still working and in new conditions? Oh yeah, do you not think that there wouldn't be electricity and satellite.. (I know I'm being too critical on this but seriously, does it make sense??)

Well, this is really a very cheap shot to the movie "I am Legend". Look at the poster, it even haves the feel of I am legend's poster. The storyline is almost the same. All they did was modify some things here and there, and made sure that this guy somehow actually grew up by himself with the swarms of infested people. Defending himself, trying to get food for himself, and hey, he could even find medications. And seriously, art department team, do you not use your brains when you find things that are supposed to be old? Like seriously, did you not learn from other movies like Resident evil? 3 years and they do not have food and fuel, and all their stuff are rusted and etc. How can this 10+ year infestation still have all sorts of stuff, not to mention things that look so NEW?? Gosh.. I know I'm ranting off and insulting this movie to bits.. but seriously.. this is the poorest attempt to follow "I am legend" legendary storyline. (no pun intended)

I'm going to stop here as I've got sooooo much to say about this movie, but I wouldn't want this ranting to be 10 pages long. Cause I'm pretty sure I can scurinize every minute of this film and go write it here. (I only watched half of the movie.. it's not worth to watch.. Wait for "I am Legend") Urggh.. what some people do for cheap thrills..
